The SRC represents the student body and supports the growth of the school through service, leadership and development initiatives.
Student Leadership

The SRC represents students in school decision-making processes and promotes responsible communication between students and school leadership.
Service to AWUSCO
Every SRC administration contributes to the development of mother AWUSCO through projects that improve student welfare.
The Student Representative Council (SRC) of Awudome Senior High School is the student leadership body mandated to represent the interests of students and promote student welfare. All prefects and class representatives are respectfully addressed by the title Honourable.
Over the years, the SRC has embarked on enviable and life-supporting projects that have benefited both students and the school community. It has become a strong tradition that every SRC administration contributes meaningfully to the development of AWUSCO.

Completed SRC Projects
Practical initiatives undertaken to support student welfare, transport and school programmes.
Health Service Car
Procured a Toyota Vitz Saloon car to support emergency transport from the school infirmary to clinics or hospitals.
School Bus Repair
Fixed the school’s Eicher bus, which had been out of service for about ten years, helping reduce transportation challenges.
Public Address System
Purchased a new PA system to improve sound support for school programmes, assemblies and major events.
Canteen Extension Project
Also in progress is the school canteen extension project. The extension is expected to create more space, reduce pressure during meal times and improve time management for students.
65-Seater Bus Project
In the SRC’s quest to enhance educational experiences, the Council appeals for support in acquiring a brand-new 65-seater bus. This will help students participate more effectively in educational tours, competitions, excursions and other learning opportunities.
To demonstrate commitment, each student has pledged to contribute GH₵50.00 per semester towards the purchase of the bus. The SRC also welcomes support from benevolent individuals and organizations.
Friday Wear and Supplementary Items
The SRC attire promotes identity, unity and neat appearance among students.
SRC Friday Wear
The SRC has an attire for its members which also serves as a Friday wear for students. The attire comprises a Lacoste for both boys and girls, blue-black trousers for the boys and a blue-black box pleated skirt for the girls.
